At Fortified Hills we think church membership is really important. It is incredible and weighty to think that in the local church God works the gospel out in us and through us all to the praise of his glorious grace. When you join Fortified Hills you belong to a local faith family that is committed to following Jesus and making much of him together.
Because of the great privilege and serious weight inherit in the local church we take covenant membership seriously. Belonging to this faith family means that you commit to fleshing out what it means to follow Jesus, live in biblical community, and faithfully engage in the mission of God. As covenant members make this commitment to the church our elders and leadership also make a commitment to our covenant members. Our leadership commits to intentionally praying for, shepherding, teaching, equipping, counseling, and encouraging members that they might continue to grow in their walks with Jesus and faithfully live out God’s call on their life.
As you consider becoming a member of Fortified Hills we offer a class called Belong that covers what it means to be a covenant member as well as the purpose, vision, mission, and theological beliefs of Fortified Hills. This class is the first step in our membership process and a great way to get to know us.
